FIN 394 - Financial Planning Capstone (3) SP. This course requires students to synthesize and apply elements of comprehensive financial planning within a Christian context. The course requires students to perform all functions of the financial planning process and apply the CFP Board’s Practice Standards including the development and delivery of a comprehensive financial plan. Additionally, this course will satisfy the educational requirements for the Certified Kingdom Advisor, CKA®, designation. The course will contain two distinct elements: (1) online, self-paced learning of 20 modules related to the all broad elements of the financial planning process; and (2) on-site completion of a written comprehensive written financial plan and oral delivery of such plan. Students will utilize financial planning software in the preparation of the financial plan. Prerequisites: ACCT 306 , BUS 392 (may be taken concurrently),FIN 201 , FIN 302 , FIN 311 , FIN 312 , FIN 313 , and MKTG 301 .
