FIN 312 - Estate Planning (3) FA. Students engage the primary elements of estate planning from the perspective of a financial advisory professional. Topics include the estate planning process, the basic documents needed for an estate plan, property ownership, assets that pass through and around the probate process, gift and estate taxes, and planning techniques to reduce an individual’s tax liability. Throughout, students will develop a biblical perspective of wealth and wealth transfer. For entry into this 300-level finance course, students must have achieved at least a C in BUS 101, BUS 201, ACCT 203, and ACCT 204.
