EDUC 346 - Internship II: Student Teaching (12) FA, SP. This internship provides field-based learning through a full-time placement in a grade K-12 classroom. With the supervision of faculty members and master teachers, candidates refine their understanding and performance of the knowledge, skills and dispositions expected of educators. Individual observations, mentoring, and coursework aid candidates in developing as professionals. Varied frameworks and tools are used throughout the internship to assess readiness for the professional field. Prerequisite(s): an overall GPA of 2.5, Internship I (EDUC 308 ; or EDUC 315 , EDUC 350 , MATH 324 , and SCES 310 ), and recommendation of the Internship I supervisors. Corequisite(s): EDUC 359 .
