SP. Students use rock and mineral collections to learn to name an array of rocks that represent the crust. Students learn to read and interpret geologic maps from a variety of geologic settings. Students develop technical skills, practice data analysis, and engage in scientific communication. Prerequisite(s): GEO 120, GEO 151, or GEO 153. Corequisite(s): GEO 152. Lab fee: $125.
