GEO 252 - Geomorphology (3) FA. Geomorphology is the study of landforms, including their nature, processes and history. This course examines the processes and landforms produced by the action of water (streams, coasts), wind, gravity (mass movements), ice, weathering, and crustal processes. For different environments, students will learn to recognize landforms, understand landform evolution, and identify the influences of relevant variables. A semester-long research project provides hands-on experience with geomorphic investigation, interpretation, and communication. Prerequisite(s): GEO 120 , GEO 151 , or GEO 153 . Corequisite(s): GEO 252L .
