SP. This internship provides field-based learning through a full-time placement in a grade K-12 classroom. With the supervision of faculty members and master teachers, candidates refine their understanding and performance of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions expected of educators. Individual observations, mentoring, and coursework aid candidates in developing as professionals. Varied frameworks and tools are used throughout the internship to assess readiness for the professional field. Students will complete a project tailored to their disciplinary pedagogy interests. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 507 and EDUC 508. Corequisite(s): EDUC 559.
