BIOL 305L - Advanced Human Anatomy Lab (2) FA, SP. This laboratory course involves a detailed study of human gross anatomy that builds on prior anatomical knowledge from other courses. Students will work in small teams to perform guided dissections of human cadavers to study tissues, organs, and organ systems. Particular attention will be paid to typical anatomical configurations, but with discussion of anatomical variants, pathological conditions, age-related changes, and clinical applications when possible. Areas of focus will include articulations, muscles, neural pathways, vasculature, and organs of the thoracic and abdominopelvic cavities. Prerequisite(s): a grade of B- or better in either BIOL 205 or BIOL 323 . Lab fee: $170.
