CHEM 341L - Evolving Complexity Lab

SP. In this lab, students will complete sequential, multi-step syntheses based on procedures found in the literature. All compounds prepared will be characterized using spectroscopic methods and other instrumental techniques. Organometallic catalysts will be made and evaluated for their application to complex connections and chiral induction. Special attention will be paid to the synthesis and use of polymers in complex transformations. Corequisite(s): CHEM 341. Lab fee: $195.
