FA, SP. Students will actively explore the core knowledge, practices and dispositions of teaching and learning through examination of model teaching, enactment of practice teaching in small groups, and reflective discussion. The course will focus on what it means to live out Christian faith commitments and practices in a variety of settings. This includes consideration of who teaches and is taught, what is taught, how and in what context we teach, and the complex ways in which these ideas interact and compete in PK-12 classrooms. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 103, EDUC 240, and EDUC 241, or permission of the instructor.
