SP, even years. Students learn from close observation, examination, and drawing many fossil specimens over the semester. Labs focus on the characteristics of approximately 20 phyla of macroscopic plants and animals, as well as others that are traditionally classified as “microfossils.” Crosslisted as BIOL 313L. Corequisite(s): BIOL 313 or GEO 313. Lab fee: $125.
