BIOL 313 - Paleontology (3) SP, even years. Paleontology is the study of the organisms that once lived on Earth. This course includes an examination of structure, habitat and relationships of those organisms, as well as a review of their distribution and life history. Processes of preservation are also examined. A broad spectrum of organisms is studied with emphasis on invertebrate animals. Also listed as GEO 313 . Prerequisite(s): GEO 152 or BIOL 160 . Corequisite(s): BIOL 313L .
