MATH 327 - Mathematics Content and Teaching Methods for Middle Grades (2) SP, alternate years. This course examines best practices in the teaching and learning of mathematics for the middle grades. Relevant mathematics concepts for these grade levels will be explored. This course is generally taken during the junior year and is required for education majors seeking middle and/or high school licensure to teach mathematics. Prerequisite(s): Internship I (EDUC 308 ; or EDUC 315 , EDUC 350 , MATH 324 , and SCES 310 ) and a 200-level mathematics course, or permission of the instructor.
