SOWK 370 - The Helping Interview (4) FA, SP. Through experiential work in a laboratory setting, students will learn the skills to conduct a solutions-focused helping interview. Students will conduct several types of recorded interviews, participate as role-players, and provide constructive feedback to peers. Students will also engage contextual material about ethical issues, a Christian view of relationship, and the importance of diversity and difference. Prerequisite(s): (for social work majors and minors only) PSYC 151 or SOC 151 ; and SOWK 240 .
