SOWK 350 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment (4) SP. This course involves a study of persons in their environment with a particular focus on human behavior and development. Persons are described as biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual beings who grow and develop throughout their lives. Theoretical frameworks enable students to assess, predict, and explain micro, meso, exo, and macro influences on human behavior and development. Prerequisite(s): for social work majors: PSYC 151 , SOC 151 , SOWK 240 , and BIOL 115 ; for social work minors: PSYC 151 or SOC 151 .
