GEO 325 - Hydrogeology (3) SP, odd years. This is an upper-level, pre-professional course, providing preparation in fundamental principles and practical applications of groundwater occurrence, flow, quality, extraction, and remediation. The course examines significant water resource and pollution issues in urban and developing areas. The course also addresses needs for clean and adequate water supplies in poor and remote areas of the world. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101 ; and GEO 252 , ENGR 306 , or ENGR 320 . MATH 132 or MATH 171 is strongly recommended. Corequisite(s): GEO 325L .
