SOWK 350 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment (3) FA, SP. This course involves a study of persons in their environment with a particular focus on human behavior and development. Persons are described as biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual beings who grow and develop throughout their lives. Theoretical frameworks enable students to assess, predict, and explain micro, meso, exo, and macro influences on human behavior and development. Prerequisites for social work majors only: BIOL 115 ; PSYC 151 or SOC 151 ; and SOWK 240 .
