CHEM 321 - Biochemistry I (4) FA. A study of proteins, enzymes, carbohydrates, lipids, and membranes with an emphasis on the relationship of structure and function. Also included is the study of signaling pathways and current biochemical approaches to asking biochemical questions about structure, function, and signaling. Students who need a lab associated with this course may elect to take CHEM 324L. Prerequisite: CHEM 240 or CHEM 242 .
