SPAUD 210 - Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech, Hearing, and Language Mechanisms (4) FA, SP. A study of the anatomic and physiologic bases for the development and use of speech, language, and hearing. The course focuses on the central and peripheral auditory mechanisms of the human body, and on the respiratory, phonatory, and articulatory mechanisms required for speech production. The course includes a laboratory section.
