COMM 141 - Visual Rhetoric

FA, SP, SU. This course is a study of the rhetoric of images, how images create meaning, and how images are used to persuade. It leads students to understand the relationship between the rhetoric of images, the various audiences for those images, and their social contexts. Students learn to critique the construction of images, the ethical use of images, and the various meanings of images.
