Health Communication Major

The Department of Communication, in cooperation with health sciences, offers a health communication major that emphasizes the study and practice of communication. Building on the health sciences foundation courses, health communication majors learn how to communicate effectively in health organizations, both public and private. Health communication specialists are in high demand, and this career field is fast-growing.
