Organizations use information systems to track, control, and steward their resources and their relationships with stakeholders, whether by keeping records, analyzing past performance, or predicting future performance. Therefore, information systems are relevant to most organizational functions. The information systems minor familiarizes students with relevant fundamentals in business and computing, so that in their future callings they may collaborate more effectively with technologists.
Before students may take any 300-level course in the business department required in the information systems minor, they must have earned at least a C in BUS 201 and ACCT 203.
