Graphic Design Minor

The graphic design minor equips students with basic proficiencies for solving foundational design problems in a variety of mediums, including the Adobe Creative Suite. In contrast to the major which emphasizes portfolio development and the integration of advanced research practices into students’ creative practice, the minor is not intended to prepare students for careers as graphic designers but instead is aimed at complementing and enriching a wide range of majors across the university.
