Financial planners assist individuals and households with their financial plans, including budgets, savings, investments, debt, insurance, retirement, taxes, and estate planning. The financial planning major prepares students to become financial advisors and planners, according to biblical principles. The program is registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board), and meets the CFP Board education requirement to help students attain the CFP® designation.
For entry into 300-level courses in the financial planning major, students must achieve at least a C in BUS 201 , ACCT 203 , and ACCT 204 .
Overlap Policy
This program may not be combined with the business minor or finance, BA programs. No more than two majors from the School of Business may be obtained.
