The digital communication major prepares students to create media for digital platforms, learning how to communicate well in those mediums for various audiences. Students take courses in film and media production, computer science, and either graphic design or photography. In theory and criticism courses, students also learn more about the relationship between communication, technology, and society.

This program may not be combined with the Applied Film and Media Major, BA , Film and Media Major: Production Concentration, BA , Film and Media Major: Studies Concentration, BA , or Film and Media Minor programs.
