MBA program director: L. Van Drunen

Grounded in the wisdom of the Reformed Christian perspective on purposeful leadership, the Calvin MBA imparts knowledge and skills in not only the business functions needed to create sustainable value, but also the strategic processes that enable adaptation to a changing environment. Core courses focus on authentic leadership and employing a data-driven, critical analysis approach to making informed decisions. Courses are taught using a relational pedagogy.

Calvin University’s MBA: Business Analytics Concentration emphasizes using large collections of data about people, products, and processes, combined with predictive analytics tools, to discover patterns and anticipate market trends and make informed decisions. Coursework also focuses on effectively designing and creating visualizations to communicate with and about data. Each course is offered in an 8-week asynchronous format.

The MBA: Business Analytics Concentration requires completion of 9 required courses (27 credits) and 3 additional INFO courses (9 credits), for a total of 12 courses (36 credits).

Before taking any courses required for the Calvin MBA, students must be admitted to Calvin’s MBA graduate program or other Calvin graduate program.
