MBA program director: L. Van Drunen
Grounded in the wisdom of the Reformed Christian perspective on purposeful leadership, the Calvin MBA imparts knowledge and skills in not only the business functions needed to create sustainable value, but also the strategic processes that enable adaptation to a changing environment. Core courses focus on authentic leadership and employing a data-driven, critical analysis approach to making informed decisions. Courses are taught using a relational pedagogy. Each course is offered in an 8-week asynchronous format.
The MBA program requires completion of 9 required courses (27 credits) and 3 additional courses (9 credits), for a total of 12 courses (36 credits). Additional courses may be selected from the program’s two concentrations (Business Analytics, Nonprofit Management) as well as from other graduate courses offered at Calvin, with program-director approval.
Before taking any courses required for the Calvin MBA, students must be admitted to Calvin’s MBA graduate program or other Calvin graduate program.
