Special Education Major: Cognitive Impairment

This program prepares candidates to teach in special education settings. Candidates also complete another certifiable major or minor and two semesters of student teaching are required. Candidates earn the K-12 Cognitive Impairment endorsement on the Michigan teaching certificate.

It is strongly recommended that students in this program take COMM 214  to fulfill their Rhetoric and Culture core-curriculum requirement.
