Philosophy Major

Majoring in philosophy is your opportunity to join a community devoted to exploring questions of enduring significance: from human nature and our knowledge of God to the meaning of life and lifelong formation in virtue. “Why?” is our favorite question. The philosophy department welcomes “undecideds,” doubters, and explorers to join us in the quest for wisdom. Our program is intentionally flexible for double majors and offers a way to deepen any field of study.
