Grounded in the wisdom of the Reformed Christian perspective on purposeful leadership, the Calvin MBA imparts knowledge and skills in not only the business functions needed to create sustainable value, but also the strategic processes that enable adaptation to a changing environment. Core courses focus on authentic leadership and employing a data-driven, critical analysis approach to making informed decisions. Courses are taught using a relational pedagogy.
Calvin University’s MBA: Nonprofit Management Concentration focuses on the expertise necessary to design a nonprofit organization capable of raising the human and financial resources required for sustainability. Coursework also emphasizes effective leadership practices, professional communication, and impactful strategies for nonprofit organizations.
