Politics, Philosophy, and Economics Major

The Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) program offers an interdisciplinary major designed for students who are interested in public service. The major is designed to help students bring philosophical insights to bear on empirical social science research and to employ the methods of social science to measure philosophical claims about foundational concepts such as equality and justice.

Specialized Courses
- Twelve additional semester hours, half of which are in advanced-level courses, from at least two of three PPE disciplines. Students will work with their PPE advisor to develop a rationale and course plan for the courses they will take to complete the program, which may include one interim course and/or three hours of internship credit.
