The Global Development Studies (GDS) major seeks to understand the causes of global injustice, hunger, and poverty in an effort to contribute to the effort of building a world in which every human being can flourish.
(GDS majors who select the Washington, DC, Semester or World Renew placement for their off-campus experience as students will participate in an 8-credit-hour internship which may be used to complete this requirement.)
