Psychology Minor

Program Requirements

• PSYC 151 - Introductory Psychology: Perspectives on the Self
• Four psychology electives. Interim courses are not accepted toward the minor.

Total Semester Hours: at least 18

Students must complete a minimum of 6 psychology courses and a minimum of 18 semester hours within the Psychology department. Students may count an AP or statistics class taken in another department (e.g. STAT 143   or SOC 255  ) as an elective in the minor, but it will not count as one of the methods-focused courses listed above). Due to overlapping content, students may NOT take both PSYC 201  and PSYC 208 .
