Faith and Community Leadership Major

The ML courses in this major are only available to inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections. The programs in this department provide training for leaders in the church behind bars. The vocational goals of graduates include leading worship, discipling fellow inmates, mentoring short-term prisoners, reducing violence in prisons, and lowering the recidivism rate. The programs in this department are also appropriate for vocations in society, including careers in congregations, parachurch organizations, community development, and social agencies.
