Note: Elementary candidates complete two semesters of student teaching (EDUC 345 and EDUC 346 ).

FREN 301 - Advanced Conversation
FREN 302 - Advanced Grammar
FREN 351 - Survey of French Literature
IDIS 356 - Introduction to Elementary World-Languages Pedagogy (elementary) OR
IDIS 357 - Introduction to Secondary World-Languages Pedagogy (secondary must take 357, K-12 must take both IDIS 356 and 357)
IDIS 359 - Seminar in Secondary World-Languages Pedagogy (concurrently with EDUC 346 )

Note:

Only one of the three courses STFR 361, 362 and STFR 363 will be taught in a particular semester abroad.

Total Semester Hours: 31-37

NOTE: Students intending to qualify for secondary endorsement must take IDIS 357 before student teaching.

NOTE: Students intending to qualify for the K-12 endorsement along with an elementary or secondary major will spend part of the student teaching semester in an elementary setting and part in a secondary setting. French majors must take both pedagogy courses: IDIS 356 and IDIS 357 before student teaching.
