Gender-contract courses
Minors negotiate a contract in a non-gender focused class to add a significant and theoretically focused gender component to normal class requirements. Examples of additional components include gender-focused readings, research, projects, papers, or service-learning activities. The student should identify a non-gender course for which the professor is committed to guiding the student in learning gender aspects relevant to the topic. The student should consult with the course professor to agree upon the appropriate additional gender-focused components. The details of the agreement should be approved by the director of the gender studies minor early in the semester. Two from the list above or from:
