Latin Minor

Students who have completed one year of high school Latin should normally enroll in LATN 101 , those with two or more years in LATN 201 . Students whose qualifications permit them to omit LATN 201  should consult the department chair regarding the minor. Those who have completed one year of college Latin should normally enroll in LATN 201 .

Completion of LATN 205 /LATN 206 /LATN 300 , GREE 203 /GREE 205 /GREE 206 /GREE 300  or their equivalents satisfies the core requirement in foreign language. CLAS 211  or CLAS 231  can satisfy the core requirement in the arts. Classics 211, can satisfy the core requirement in literature.
