Accountancy, BSA

The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree is intended for students who want to prepare for careers in public accounting, financial or nonprofit accounting, or roles in finance.  Students who complete this 124 semester hour program accept positions in several different industries, including banking, health services, manufacturing, and positions with not-for-profit agencies.  All core categories must be met for this degree with the exception of one of the courses in religion and a two course reduction in the foreign language requirement.

Students desiring to pursue the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation may continue their studies at Calvin to complete the educational requirements of the CPA designation. The CPA-track program requires an additional 31 credit hours in the Business Department.

A grade of at least a C in
