FA, SP, as needed. This course surveys issues of culture and society with a focus on a region in the Spanish-speaking world. It situates those issues in the context of the history of the region and analyzes expressions of faith and spirituality. The course invites students to approach the study of the region with a posture of cultural and intellectual humility. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 202 or permission of the instructor.
