GCS 391 - Leading through Change (4) SP. This course explores the key challenges and opportunities of navigating change as a leader in the private or social sectors. The course draws insights from business, human services, social work, non-profit management, and ethics to equip students with a multidisciplinary understanding of leading through change. The course will focus particularly on how Christian virtues and convictions can both deepen and challenge disciplinary perspectives. Topics include ethical leadership, organizational sustainability, dynamics of power, policy reform, leading in diverse environments, and effective change management. Through a combination of study and practical application, students will develop their own theory of change rooted in Christian values and applied to contemporary issues in business and human services. Enrollment is restricted to continuing-studies students.
