FA, SP, as needed. Designed to be paired with another 2-semester-hour HNRS course, this course will emphasize creative writing (whether nonfiction, fiction, or poetry) as a form of problem-solving, embedded within larger social contexts. Particular attention will be paid to genre conventions and audience expectations. The interdisciplinary component will attend to how writing not only expresses ideas but gives shape to them along the way. Prerequisite(s): HNRS 103.
