EDUC 621 - Teaching and Christian Community

This course will examine how Christian thinking about interdependent community can inform pedagogical designs and processes with a focus on the relational fabric constructed during learning and in the practices of schools. Students will examine biblical, confessional, theological, and educational sources on the nature of community and explore connections to educational practices before engaging in their own design process with explicit attention to its enactment of relational patterns.
