HNRS 395 - Prompte: Honors Capstone (1) SP. Taking for its title one of Calvin’s key intellectual virtues, this course will serve as a capstone for the Honors Scholars Program, emphasizing prompte as a disposition of earnest commitment. At the close of students’ Calvin experience, the course will bring together key themes of the Honors program: interdisciplinarity, intellectual virtues such as humility and risk-taking, habits of life-long learning, and vocational discernment. Students will explain the outcomes of their theses or creative projects for a general audience, connecting their work to real-world stakes of why such work matters. Prerequisite(s): HNRS 299 .
