SP, alternate years. Introduces music education majors to current methods and materials for teaching general music in schools. Students will gain knowledge of music curricula, pedagogy, classroom instruments, and classroom technology for teaching. Students will develop an educational philosophy for teaching general music, as well as skills and professionalism necessary for effective instruction. All of these areas are examined through the lens of a Reformed Christian perspective.
