This course examines contemporary issues in US foreign policy within a broader consideration of the nature of US relations with hostile powers, allies, emerging powers, and the United Nations and other international institutions, as well the limitations and potential of US foreign policy. Typically, this course will focus on US foreign economic policy or US foreign security policy.
