RFLA 153 - Research Design and Presentation (2) SP, alternate years. Students will explore the inquiry process by framing a research question in a self-selected area of interest. Students will practice skills for obtaining reputable sources in pursuit of answers to their query. They will compile their completed research; determine the best methods to communicate the information in formal and informal settings; design and create their own research presentation; and share it with peers, professors, and community members at a research fair on campus. Prerequisite(s): admission to the Life and Career Studies program or permission from the dean of education.
