SP, odd years. A field experience in TESOL or bilingual education at the elementary, middle, secondary or adult level depending on the candidate’s program. In addition to the field experience, interns meet weekly on campus with the university supervisor to discuss and reflect upon approaches and challenges encountered in the field experience placement. Students demonstrate various teaching methods in the TESOL or bilingual education setting. Prerequisite(s): IDIS 301; and IDIS 356 or IDIS 357. Corequisite(s): IDIS 311.
