REL 251 - Christianity and Religious Plurality (4) SP. Beginning with the biblical text and proceeding via primary theological texts to the contemporary era, this course surveys Christian attitudes to non-Christian traditions of belief and practice, both philosophical and religious. The exclusivism–inclusivism–pluralism typology serves as a framework for thinking theologically about Christianity’s truth and its status in a religiously pluralistic world. Prerequisite(s): Foundations of Christianity I or appropriate transfer credit.
