This course will provide students with an understanding of the role and function of the therapeutic recreation profession in the delivery of habilitative and rehabilitative services to persons with disabilities. This course will help students understand and develop comprehensive programs in health care settings. The management of therapeutic recreation in clinical and community settings will be also examined. Prerequisite(s): KIN 201 or permission of the instructor.
