SP, alternate years. This survey course will introduce students to the profession of sport management and its relationship to the broader fields of physical education and recreation. The course will include an overview of the major aspects of sport management including sport facility design, sports marketing and fundraising, leadership and personnel management in sport, and sport law. Prerequisite(s): KIN 201.
