FA, alternate years. An overview of curricular concepts, planning principles and management skills necessary for effective teaching and learning in physical education. This course is designed to give prospective teachers insights into the nature of physical education and effective instructional strategies. The course involves discussions, written assignments, research readings, observations, task teaching, and assessment applications. Prerequisite(s): KIN 201.
